RULES FOR NCC-TU PHOTO CONTESTS
Term:
By submitting an entry to one of the National Capital Chapter of Trout Unlimited's (NCC-TU) photo contests, each contestant agrees to the rules of the contest and states that the work provided is his or her own.
How to enter:
Please post your photograph on Facebook or Instagram, use the relevant hashtag indicated in call for submissions, and tag the National Capital Chapter of Trout Unlimited (Facebook: @ncctu / Instagram: @ncctroutunlimited). Captions are encouraged, but not required.
You may submit no more than 5 photographs per individual, per contest.
Judging:
Photo entries will be judged based on creativity, quality, originality, relevance and overall impact. Judging will be conducted by the NCC-TU communications committee.
NCC-TU will notify winning entrants via the direct messaging service on social media. NCC-TU may disqualify anyone who fails to respond to the notification within five business days.
Please do not contact us about the status of entries or judging.
Conditions of Entry:
Entrants are solely responsible for their entries. Entries that are off-topic, partisan-political, contain advertising, nudity, personal attacks or expletives, or are otherwise abusive, threatening, unlawful, harassing, discriminatory, libelous, obscene, false, sexually explicit, or that infringes on the rights of any third party will be automated disqualified.
You retain your rights to your photograph; however, by entering the contest, you grant NCC-TU a royalty-free, world-wide, perpetual, non-exclusive license to publicly display, distribute, reproduce and create derivative works of the entries, in whole or in part, in any media now existing or later developed, for any NCC-TU purpose, including, but not limited to, advertising and promotion of NCC-TU and its website, exhibition, and NCC-TU publications. Any photograph reproduced will include a photographer credit as feasible. NCC-TU will not be required to pay any additional consideration or seek any additional approval in connection with such uses.
To the extent possible, NCC-TU will always publish photo credit.
