October 24, 2017 - Welcome! Andrew Reichardt, President NCC-TU
Welcome back NCC-TU members! We hope that you had a fantastic summer. You may notice that our website looks a bit different than you remember! The board has been hard at work over the past several months revamping the website and getting it ready to go live. For those of NCC-TU who may not have met me before, I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Andrew Reichardt, I am a Washington area native and an avid fly-fisherman and conservationist. I joined the NCC-TU board last fall and am very excited to be serving as our new chapter president for the 2017-2018 year. I look forward to getting to know you and the rest of our chapter's dedicated and passionate members and volunteers in the months and years ahead and helping make NCC-TU a vibrant and effective organization, protecting trout habitat, serving our community and bringing the joys of fly-fishing to any that are interested and ready to learn.
I want to thank Tom Mann, our outgoing president for his guidance over the past few months as we have transitioned roles, and the rest of the board for its assistance with all of the major changes we are making here at NCC-TU. A special thanks go out to Dan Sheesley and George Gaines and the rest of our dedicated volunteers for their great work starting up the new Project Healing Waters Program at the DC VA Hospital.
